The apartment is located in the beautiful old town of Werder / Havel, in a completely renovated old building in 2016. It offers you a kitchen with a kitchenette and a large dining area. There is a bedroom with a walk-in closet, an extra bed with a cot is possible, a living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a bathroom and a terrace that can be used on our courtyard for barbecues.
The house is fully equipped with underfloor heating.
You are welcome to park bicycles locked on our yard, of course charge e-bikes for free.

Werder / Havel is 15 km from the state capital Potsdam and approx. 40 km from Berlin. You can easily reach both from the Werder / Havel city center. The good connection to Potsdam and Berlin is also a very good alternative to the car for night owls. We would be happy to provide you with information about local public transport on site.

Our clean Havel lakes, with Brandenburg sandy beaches will enchant you in spring and summer. A boat and bike rental incl. E-bikes are open approx. 500 m away until the end of October, afterwards on request. The State of Brandenburg celebrates the 200th with a theme year Theodor Fontane's birthday and an entire region are celebrating with good reason. Follow Fontane's descriptions with your own senses during exhibitions, theater, music, lectures, readings, bike tours or boat tours on the Havel. Visit historical places or go hiking like Fontane. But our island town also has its own flair, which is beautiful in spring and summer. In just 5 minutes you can reach our bakery (Tue-Sun) and can stock up on breakfast rolls and delicious cakes. Restaurants on the water or in the historic old town are all within a 10-minute walk. Enjoy your vacation with a sunset on the banks of the Havel.

Our region can enchant with endless mixed forests. Observing animals or picking up forest mushrooms (if there and with a guide) can quickly turn your holiday into an unforgettable experience.

Werder / Havel is a state-approved resort. Since 2014, a municipal contribution has been levied in the municipality for the use, maintenance and improvement of the tourist infrastructure. In the city of Werder / Havel, a spa fee of € 1.50 per adult per night is charged all year round. By paying the spa fee you will receive a guest card that entitles you to visit various facilities and events at discounted prices. This price is payable on site upon arrival.

Sehr schöne, saubere, großzügige und sehr gut ausgestattete Maisonette-Wohnung, sehr schön gelegen, nette Vermieter. Achtung: Der angekündigte "Parkplatz" ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz einige dutzend bis 150 m entfernt, ohne Garantie auf freien Platz. War für uns überhaupt kein Problem, sollte man aber wissen.

Schnuckeliges Kleinod...

...mitten auf der Insel. Wasser 100 Meter nach links, bzw. nach rechts. Wir waren zu zweit unter der Woche dort, und es hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Alles neu renoviert. Nichts knarzt oder knirscht, alles tip top, inkl, Fußbodenheizung. Der Inhaber ist super klasse und freundlich und voller guter Ideen und Ratschläge, die die 4-tägige Anwesenheit bei weitem übersteigen. Werder (Havel) war aus unserer Sicht und Erfahrung ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Potsdam und das Havelgebiet. Also kurz und knapp, absolut gelungen und "nix zu meckern".

Sehr nette Vermieter. Konnten sogar unsere Fahrräder ein paar Tage "abparken". Somit mussten die nicht mit nach Hamburg. Vielen Dank noch mal. Zur Begrüßung gab's selbstgemachte Marmelade. Lecker. Alles in allem super. Sogar für bestes Radelwetter hatte Fam. Switaiski gesorgt.

Es ist eine Tolle Ferienwohnung, gute Lage, sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Gute Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft besticht durch ihre Lage! Sehr nah an Potsdam, aber auch die "Insel" an sich ist wunderschön und lädt zum spazieren und gutem Essen ein. Wirklich toll. Die Wohnung selber ist gut gepflegt, geschmackvoll und hat alles was man braucht. Leider ist die Terrasse/der Hof nicht direkt von der Wohnung zugänglich. Drei Tipps möchte ich zukünftigen Urlaubern mit an die Hand geben: 1. Parken: Die Parkplatzsituation ist äußerst bescheiden. Am besten an der Kirche bzw. an der Friedhofsmauer parken. 2. Rückenprobleme: Leider ist die Couch recht unbequem. Lange hält man es nicht auf ihr aus. Das Bett hingegen ist recht weich. Menschen mit Rückenproblemen könnten da also Schwierigkeiten haben. 3. Helles Schlafzimmer: Das Schlafzimmer hat zwar ein Dachfenster, welches sich mit Rollo verschließen lässt, das andere Fenster hat jedoch nur ein blickdichtes Rollo, d.h. sobald es draußen hell ist, ist es eben auch im Zimmer hell. Gerade Familien mit kleinen Kindern könnten da schon sehr zeitig aus dem Bett geschmissen werden ;-) Ach und die Kirche in der Nähe macht am Wochenende 7 Uhr mit ihren Kirchenglocken gut Lärm. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt, wie gesagt, v.a. wegen der tollen Lage genossen. Der Vermieter hat uns auch noch gute Ausflugstipps gegeben, die wir dankend angenommen haben.

Hübsche Unterkunft auf der Insel Werder

Gut eingerichtet (incl. Geschirrspüler und schicke Dusche), geeignet für 2-3 Personen. Die zentrale Lage auf der Insel Werder sichert schnellen Zugang zu allen interessanten Punkten. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Preis ist angemessen.

Sehr angenehm

Die Ferienwohnung war optimal für uns zwei Erwachsene. Sie ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Terasse auf dem Hof haben wir nicht genutzt, weil wir zu bequem waren, mit dem Frühstückszeug die 3m über die Straße zu laufen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Die Lage, zentral auf der Werder-Insel, ist wunderbar. Man ist zu Fuß schnell überall: Gaststätten, Geschäfte, Boots- und Fahrradverleih, Schiffanleger, Uferpromenade ... Die Gegend insgesamt bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten für Natur- und Kulturerlebnisse. Insgesamt war die Ferienwohnung ein echter Glücksgriff.
