"The “breakfast menu” like all available food, consists of packaged items (including yogurt and cut fruit) in a refrigerator case. It’s okay for a grab and go ( the urn for free coffee was empty) but not for a sit down and eat meal. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. This is a good, clean, simple hotel that delivers comfortable beds at a reasonable price in downtown New Haven. No frills."

"Due to flight delays, unable to arrive until the next morning. LaQuinta said there was no payment recourse as I had already paid, but they did let us have breakfast. "

"The hotel was very dated, the room looked like it was from 1970 “ yes I’m old enough to remember 1970) the rug was bunched up in a tripping hazard in many places in the center of the room. The bedspread had pools in it and looked like it’s been worn out for 10 years the couch I wouldn’t even sit on.. I would expect to see this room at a red roof in and not where I paid $200 with tax and all included. During checkout couldn’t even tell the front desk personnel because she was talking to her girlfriend on the phone the entire time and never asked me a single question.. Very disappointed . I would absolutely never stay there again"

The room was spotless, well-designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect—convenient to nearby attractions while still feeling quiet and safe. "Rooms were ok, place seems outdated needs a good update. The room was not very updated, was clean so I'll give them that. Breakfast was not included, so have to pay additional for that. It was ok, typical hotel breakfast, so overpriced in my opinion since they could've just added it to the room pricing and had just included breakfast in general. Staff was friendly, and helpful though. Went mostly for the interest in the pool. Kids had fun it is small, but it was a good time because not too many people."
