"Compared with other B&B’s we have been, this one is average. The issue we had was a stinky smell (fecal matter) in our bathroom. They changed us to a different room on the 6th floor and it was better but still not completely gone. We guess they have a plumbing problem. The staff front desk were kind and helpful. The hotel is located about 30 mins via train (S1 & U3) from central station. The Habichtsrabe station is only few feet from the hotel and there is a nice coffee/bakery before you go the station. We also found an Aldi and a wash center in a walking distance. Rewe which is other place to get food (better supermarket than Aldi) is near to Barmbek station. They have a parking lot and it seems a lot of regular workers (electricians, techs) book in this hotel. The area where is located is safe during day hours (we didn’t go after 7 pm) and it is far from the city center and attractions in Hamburg (36 mins on the train). Finally our room faces a soccer court."
