Hotel Alpenhof

"We were in room 306, we had nice views in our balcony, we stayed for three nights. The hotel is close to the terminals, shops, restaurants, nicely located. Yes, it’s an uphill walk to the hotel but we did not mind. The parking was free and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a washer and dryer that we got to use for a fee. The only thing was the bed/futon/day beds (?) we were sleeping on were sagging that the head part was way down, we had to sleep with our heads on opposite side, not as saggy part, that we can’t watch TV, but that was okay. Another thing, we left the door slightly open for air, it was hot, our beds, floor were filled with pollen/seed fluff (?) from the flowers outside/flowers from balcony. Otherwise, hotel staff were very nice, hotel nicely located, free and decent breakfast and free parking, appreciated their washer and dryer for a fee."

"Stayed in a senior suite (family of 4). This hotel was perfect! Service was excellent, we were picked up from the cable car and luggage was transported to the hotel. The front desk staff were all very helpful and the messaging app is great if we needed anything by throughout our stay. Accommodations were perfect as we had a kitchen area and 2 separate bedrooms. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and it was hot the first night as there is no air conditioning but the were provided with extra fans for the bedrooms the following nights and that helped a lot. The corner bistro was excellent and our server was very attentive and friendly. The town itself is picturesque and feels like you’re in a fairytale. 100% would recommend!"

"The hotel was beautiful and historic. The walk up the hill with luggage was doable, but for those needing assistance, you can pay for a ride up. Being up on the hill made for a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Being an older hotel, there were minor issues, but that was part of the charm. Our rooms were on the top floor and there was no air conditioning so a bit uncomfortable sleeping. They did have fans in the room which was nice. The kids slept in a loft and they thought that was fun. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again."

"Wow! Wengen is incredible! The staff at Regina was amazing, helpful, friendly and helped us figure out where to hike, eat, travel etc. Amazing hotel, staff and location. Total winner!"

"Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice! We had an awesome stay here! I will say the breakfast was interesting. You have to reserve the night before, before 2000. The breakfast could just be included in my opinion, no hot food just breads, cheese, meat, cereal, boiled eggs. Nonetheless, phenomenal place!"
