"We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. "I’ve absolutely loved staying at this place. The basement is very modern and clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. My favorite part of my stay was getting to see the acres of land. It’s such a beautiful scenery especially at sunset. The farm is in the backyard and I got to see the chickens and goats, and had some beautiful friendly farm cats around too. "My sister and I rented this guest home for a getaway weekend. Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful.
