"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. "The hotel was clean and bright. It has a younger vibe, a bit art deco, you might say. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. Thank you! And the reception was open when I arrived at a late hour due to a transportation snafu. In the midst of the heatwave everyone was talking about, she offered me a glass of cold water, which I gratefully accepted. Such a hospitable touch! The room was pleasing, again that art deco look. I liked it, even if in some ways the design wasn't terribly practical. The compact space left no room for a desk or writing area. The mirror over the sink was too high for someone not tall. The sink was around the corner from the bathroom, not in it. That stuff might not matter to everyone, so stay there anyway! The room was appealing, there's a comfortable sitting area downstairs, and an outside area too. Again, the friendly staff, always a plus. There is a welcoming atmosphere. And it's close to the main rail station as well as right on a streetcar line. Convenient! Recommended."
