"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. The garden and swimming pool were all fantastic and our kids had the most amazing time. More sun loungers and a parasol by the pool would have been great and we found the WiFi upstairs patchy. "The property is excellent throughout: comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The garden, with different seating spots depending on the sun's position and strength, is also extensive. I loved the area too, local towns Brantome & Nontron, the Perigord- Limousin Regional Park and the plus beau village of St Jean de Cole. I should hope to return!"

The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone.
