"This small hotel is very stylishly designed. The pool area has ample beds (free) with drink and food service. The pool area opens into a stylish restaurant and bar space. The 2 stone cool down tubs over look an scenic valley. We used this hotel as a base for visiting Port Grimaud, Saint Tropez and Pampelonne Beach. We would definitely stay there again."

"Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a great view. The real star of the show is the service provided by Chérine. She made our stay outstanding with recommendations for the best restaurant. Brought a lovely birthday gift for my daughter when I mentioned it was her birthday- brought a fan for the upstairs loft at a moment’s notice. She was so, so lovely. Hotel is very convenient for the ferry over to St Tropéz (Chérine provided the schedule and easy instructions). Le Suffren is a great hotel made perfect by the service we experienced. Amenities in the room were new and perfect for an easy stay- great a/c as well!"

"We were two couples, my partner and I and my niece and her husband, staying in Toulon for the first time for five days. The hotel is modern, in an excellent location to both the centre of the town and the railway station. The personnel, particularly Aya and Auriane, were extremely helpful and very patient with my awful French and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. One facility which was extremely helpful was a 24-hour lounge area for all the residents where you could help yourself to drinks (teas, coffees etc) and to nibbles and fruit. It proved invaluable and we stay there again without hesitation. Thank you again for giving us such a pleasant stay."
