"Overall a really fantastic stay and can’t wait to return.
When we arrived it was very difficult to establish where to check in as multiple check-in locations were closed. Eventually when we did check in, they will never check you in early - they even suggest you park your car at the lodge, which is strange as you can see your lodge available and ready to use but the key doesn’t work till 3pm. Then when it was 3pm we walked back to the lodge only from the hangar to find the key didn’t work so had to walk back to the desk (15 minute walk each way) whilst my wife had to feed our crying baby on the steps of the lodge.
Other than that, it’s such a cool place and our lodge was lovely. The restaurant in the tiki bar, was absolutely fantastic and was way above our expectations. The wristband system for paying for everything is dangerously easy!
As mentioned, we travelled with a baby and aside from the check-in process, it really was perfect as the water is a lovely temperature and no danger of being cold out of the water in tropical climate of the hangar. We had Amazonian lodge with a sauna and it was brilliant. As stated before it’s a 10-15 minute walk which is fine (as long as your key works..!)"
"A modern and convenient property, within easy walking distance of the airport and the Berlin train system. Room was clean and comfortable, and included a complimentary bottle of water."
"Very comfortable stay. My only feedback would be that for 7 nights at a 4-star, the fact that there’s no free water restocking is something that should be looked into. Other than that we found the staff very helpful and the location perfect to get around easily."
"The hotel is well maintained even though is quite old. The rooms are very spacious and has all the amenities you need. However the room is furnished with carpets that really smells like feet and probably not cleaned regularly and well. The smell was there even after opening the window the whole day so management should do something.
Parking is not free but there are many parking places next to the hotel which is free!!
Overall is a nice hotel for short stays."
"The room was comfortable and clean. Good bedding and pillows... The shower had hot water with good pressure. Public transport was close by and easy to walk to, with the option of going on the natural path. The only thing was that, at night, as a female, I didn't feel completely safe walking back to the hotel, as there are a few tabletop dance places on the street you use to walk back from the Metro. Throughout the day, I felt very safe."
