"Cute hotel"

"When we first arrived our room was filthy dirty. I immediately called down to the front to report the problem and was told a house keeping manager would call us back. A few minutes later the house keeping manager showed up to our room without notice to see what the problem was. We showed her all the problems: the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, it has conditioner all on the wall, the toilet was dirty, the floors weren’t sweeped and it still had the previous guests hair supplies under the sink. Our room sleep was not vacuumed, there was visible food all over the floor, the chair that was pushed under the desk, had some kind of white substance smeared on the side of the chair, the base board has some kind of yellow sticky substance smeared on the baseboard and parts of it had turned brown, the windowsill, which was huge. I also had the same yellow sticky substance dripping down the window and hair particles in the window that hadn’t been cleaned up. The room where the bar was also very dusty. I’m allergic to dust and it was more than what I expected because we paid so much for the room. "

"The nighttime temperature was awful way too hot, no thermostat, no ceiling fan. Not sure what kind of clientele frequent casa Rosa but the plastic sheet under the linen was such a nice touch, so when you can’t sleep due to the heat in the room hearing the plastic sheet crumple every slight move was just wonderful. "

"The property list they have a resturant. The resturant has been close since last year and is not plan on reopening. I had to walk a half mile in the cold to the nearest open facility"

"Our stay there was Perfect!!! The staff was extremely nice and the manager went out of his way to assist us. We travelled around Spring break, we were so glad to see that did not interrupt our stay at the hotel. Thank you to all the staff there."

"Room was clean. Air conditioner worked excellently. Run down older property, but has been renovated. Staff is extremely friendly. Not an easy location to find with GPS. They have a great restaurant called blue collar across the road from them. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for, but I would not complain about this stay since it was only for one night. The name hotel in the title is quite deceiving."
