"To be exact, this review should really be for the Hey Hotel as I got upgraded to a family room, which was a pleasant surprise. Long story short, I originally had a reservation at an apartment but as I misunderstood the check-in time, I had to scramble to book one night stay at The Guesthouse since we arrived late at around 11pm. The Guesthouse/Hey Hotel is probably the one of the very few that could accommodate late check-in. My family was pleasantly surprised to be informed by Arnis that we got upgraded. As it was quite late at night already and we have been on the train pretty much whole day, this was certainly a much welcomed gesture. The room was very spacious and clean"

"The receptionists were pleasant. Nice lobby/ interior decor. Very nice, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Love having a balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Really good buffet breakfast, and love their selection of teas. Served the best buffet breakfast out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2-week Switzerland trip. "

"The property itself is gorgeous and well equipped. I booked for 1 night and only if I have more time to spend in the hotel. The only thing is the bar tender in the hotel is not polite at all and it seems he does not like to serve or be asked about questions. All the other staffers are exceptionally polite thoigh"

"While the property is older, it had everything that we needed. It was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. We had the family room that had two single beds on the first floor with two single beds upstairs. The room was small, but it was adequate. I really loved opening the windows to let the fresh air in during the month of April. The window and the ceiling was leaking water just a little bit. But it was taken care of by the maintenance guy after we had reported it to the front desk."

"Fantastic property with great views. The staff were excellent, the rooms were clean with wonderful appointments. Great restaurant on the first floor, allot of history, and we would love to come back for another 4 days. Highly recommend!!!!"
