"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. "The hotel is very clean and nicely organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is spread across several buildings, so you need to walk outside to get to the spa, wellness area, and breakfast. Our room could use a bit of an upgrade, especially the flooring, which looked quite worn. Otherwise, everything is beautiful — the views are picture-perfect and the fresh mountain air is amazing."
