"Friendly welcome, we arrived early, safely left car and went for a wander around Lyme Regis. Our room was clean and tidy with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast - we have had better - service was a little slow (only 2 staff and 1 was providing room service) and food was average at best. Swimming pool & jacuzzi were great - you effectively booked for your private pool."

"Breakfast menu good and wholesome. All staff and at all times were excellent. Room clean but shower was not cleaned properly around door sliders, and mouldy sealant around especially bottom edges of shower tray. Toilet seat was loose as something had either come loose or broken. A socket next to bedside cabinet broken so not working. Building very close to park and walking so very good position."

"Poor Golf Experience. We arrived at 530pm with the hope that we could have a drink at the golf clubhouse, only to be told the bar was closed and the staff were looking to kick out the current guests. Considering golfers were still on course, not what you would expect. The hotel was dated and only seemed to be interested in the health club side, where members were walking in and out of the restaurant area. No real bar, no atmosphere and morale of staff very low due to poor management. We waited 50 mins for food to be served so decided against further desserts and drinks. Not what you would expect from a golf focussed and promoted venue. Will not be returning."

"Nicely renovated building next to station and a short walk to Town Centre. Large quiet room comfortably furnished. Staff very alert and helpful. No lift so stairs could be a problem for some."

"Very nice stay, value for money, but in our very small bedroom, the pokey en suite shower room had no place to put your toiletries and nowhere to hang up the towels, or toilet paper. Our bedroom faced the courtyard which was brightly lit all night, a blackout blind would have been nice. The hotel staff where very friendly and hotel location is superb and had plenty of parking."

"We had a super room, with a lovely balcony and view. Staff at reception was super and friendly, as were the housekeeping staff. The restaurant staff were a little off the mark - a long wait for tea and coffee with breakfast in the morning; a little confusion over what we could/couldn’t have to eat when we sat in the bar late afternoon , but otherwise a perfect stay."

"My room had a mould issue. The bathroom extract fan has clearly not worked for a long time and the room being being quite cold, the warm moist air goes into the bedroom and condenses making the mould grow that bit better. Breakfast was amazing, dinner was fine but the piece of frozen fish that I had (fish of the day) had a peculiar freezer burn taste to it. Not bad enough to send back, but also not great "
