"Nicely decorated home. Well manicured grounds with a pool. Home has stone walls and floors with wood ceilings. Master bed is comfortable. Second bedroom and kitchen have noise from the street. Internet is spotty due to stone building."

"A beautiful and elegant house obviously much loved by owners. There are large rooms with high ceilings and good air-conditioning in all the bedrooms. It's in a great location for walking into the walled city and also convenient to the train station. There are good bakeries and a grocery within easy walking distance. The kitchen has been redone to modern standards, so it's great for breakfast and meals if you don't want to eat out. When we arrived, we had some issues caused by previous renters....

"We all had a wonderful stay at this very secluded home on a sheep farm with pretty grounds and views and were able to explore the many acres of the farm with a very informative tour of the vineyards which resulted in a wine tasting session of Jeffs excellent wines. Our hosts were helpful and very welcoming. I should point out that the property is advertised as having two bathrooms when it infact only has one but the beds are comfortable and we all slept well. "Belle semaine de vacances en famille dans ce logement très bien équipé et climatisé. La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques ! Le joli village de Fontvieille est accessible à pied. Un grand merci aux hôtes qui sont très sympathiques. Le seul petit défaut de la maison est que 2 des chambres sont en enfilade. Je recommande ce logement !"

"We had a lovely stay in St. Remy! Gilles and Patricia were wonderful hosts, and the property was adorable. Although we were inside the city center, it felt very quiet and peaceful. I loved the view from the second story bedroom. There was a nearby locked parking spot that was a short distance from the access road circling the town. Follow Gilles directions to drive there, NOT a mapping app (it took me thought the center of the old town, which is a pedestrian area). It was great to be able to...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The Maison was well equipped, clean and Rachel was very helpful and available to us. The only reason we didn’t give her all fives was it was listed for 4 adults. The house was too small for 4 but Rachel offered the other two companions other accommodations. We highly recommend the Maison for 2-3 adults max."

It lies on a plateau just outside the charming town of St-Remy; just a few minutes drive will bring you to shops, bars, restaurants and petrol stations. There are views to the Alpilles from the top of the plateau and several tracks in the surrounding nature reserve. "The property owner is incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. The house is located in a calm and quiet part of Beaucaire, yet short walking distance from any necessary shopping. In the main living-room of the house, there's ample space with a well-adapted area for remote-working. My husband and I will be recommending to our kids to stay in this specific house, for its great location, AMAZING host and ease of use for those who tele-commute."

I would recommend this house for a family with children rather than a group of non-related adults as the bathrooms and rooms are all different, from utilitarian to luxurious.
