We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!

It was good experience overall , the only negative point is that it was bit far from gandhi chownk (50 mins almost ) and i booked this one by mistake bcoz another hotel with the same name exist in gandhi chowk

Don't let the name fool you. This could easily be a Vivanta, Taj or Hyatt. It is run like a 4 star property.
The staff have an incredible "can do" attitude for even the most challenging requests.
I was very impressed as a westerner - especially as Best Westerns are not exactly 4stars in the US.
Super plus points on the shower which was never ending hot with exceptional pressure. Amenities, views and rooftop terrace sets this property apart from everything in Mcleod Ganj
