"Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The king size bed was so comfortable and black out curtains were great. The bungalow had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were right on the road front and overlooked the blowholes. We were within walking distance to the town, whalers lookout and the gulch. It was a short drive back to Frecynet National Park. Service was excellent as we arrived on the public holiday but were kept up to date with opening times and how to access our rooms as we came in after the office had closed. This accommodation exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay to anyone looking at exploring the region."

"This simple property is under new management and the place is going through a cleanout and smarting up. I was met with a friendly smile. She rush over from one of the rooms they were repainting. "Garden needs a bit of a tidy up but this property was otherwise comfortable and clean with good views. It is also handy to the shops and cafes and only 200 metres from the Bicheno Bowl's and RSL Club which has a restaurant."

"This place was amazing. The views, walkability, location, staff and restaurant all deserve 5 stars! We were there for 5 nights and wish we had stayed longer. We did the complimentary penguin show twice during our stay and saw many other animals besides the penguins. The only minor thing is that we wish the kitchen had been better equipped. There was only a frying pan, a small and medium pot (no large pot, mixing bowls, or colander for pasta). Other than that we would highly recommend Diamond Island Resort."
