"I’d like to start off by saying the staff here, especially the manager and receptionist are exceptional, I cannot fault them in anyway, they went above and beyond to look after me, they get five stars. The down side is the hotel is very dated, it doesn’t look like the pictures, the gym is tired, the rooms and bathrooms especially and I didn’t have a good experience with the food. The manager sorted that though. My original room also was very damp smelling, but that was also resolved and I was able to move rooms. Unfortunately for me this wasn’t the relaxing spa evening I envisioned as a stopping point to my destination. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t stay again. Best Western need to invest in this property, it isn’t the staffs fault, you have a very good team here and is a credit to your business, but you need to put money into the property and bring it up to date."

"Building has lots of character and a friendly cat! Staff all very nice, room large and comfy bed. Shower a little low and weak but large bathroom. Great breakfast cooked to order. "

"Parking fine, room basic, bathroom - shower poorly situated over wring end of bath with low water pressure. OK for a night, overpriced at £125per night that's for sure"
