As a true bed & breakfast, the stay was fantastic. The food was excellent - omelets, french toast, fresh fruit yogurts, etc. all served out on the patio for a beautiful start to the day. The room was comfortable and cozy. And they truly are pet-friendly. We were able to bring our little dog with us and had a nice, relaxing weekend.

I can’t wait to return to my home away from home I loved this place. The moment I walked through the door I felt right at home. I want to go back and relax on the veranda again. So pretty and my room was like a dream.

As our first experience at a Bed & Breakfast, we were spoiled! Darrin and Amy were incredible hosts! The place was clean, full of things to do and really cool antiques, we could have stayed in our whole trip if we wanted to! The hosts even served us breakfast! Can't say enough about our stay. If you are planning to be in Big Bear, we highly recommend staying at the Gold Mountain Manor!

Great stay! Darrin and Amy were very welcoming; Georgi and Kaydence prepared us some great breakfasts as well. The location was perfect with great access to the Big Bear area but nice and quiet out of the main town at night. We’ll certainly be back again.

Beautiful old cabin converted to a B&B, the old style where they actually serve you breakfast! Quaint and quiet made for a wonderful weekend at Big Bear. Toni was so nice and the owner, Darrin was also around and they were so hospitable. Enjoyed playing pool in the billiard room and enjoyed the Clark Gable room despite having the bathroom across the hall! Highly recommend this place for a nice change of pace. We can't wait to go back!

It was my first real Bed and Breakfast experience and we felt that we are at our own home. The hosts are great and they were always ready to help and assist us. The rooms are large and very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the location is very close to the mountain and also about 20 minutes to village. We had a great time.

The owners of the property are very nice and cordial. The property is 100 years old and has a bit of history. There are fund games to play and you feel right at home staying at gold mountain manor bed and breakfast.

It was such a shame that we only stayed overnight, as this would have been a nice place to unwind after a full day of skiing. Everyone was extremely friendly, we arrived late and the host made self-check in very easy, rooms are quaint with a ton of character, bed wasn't the most comfy out there but still slept pretty well in spite of it! We will most definitely be back!

Great communication!! Darrin texted me prior to my arrival with all the instructions I needed it, very helpful and easy check in. I liked the room, clean, comfortable and very cozy. Great cabin for small, independent groups

Upon arrival, the house was nice and toasty and extremely easy to access thanks to an informative email from the property manager. Please do note however, that the cabins and vacation homes are completely separate from the Bed & Breakfast and are treated as such. Everything looked great for a mountain cabin - the view was gorgeous, the beds were nicely made and bedrooms clean and there were many DVDs to choose from as well as strong WiFi. However, when we started to settle in, we did notice a few things: - there was no soap in the hand soap dispensers in the bathroom (I added water in order to mobilize the last drops of soap) - the coffee maker still had grinds in it from the last time it was used - we preferred to re-wash the dishes we used as they didn't seem very clean - the grill was quite dirty. We made due as there were only 4 of us in a 10 capacity cabin and we were only staying for 2 nights. Also - just thought it was quite weird that we had to drive with our trash from the cabin to the B&B instead of having a trash can on site. All of that said, with a little more attention to detail, this place could be perfect for a fun stay with friends and family.

Do not book if you have children under 5 years old. I did not actually stay here. I purchased a one night stay through Expedia. Within 10 minutes the bed and breakfast called me directly to confirm my arrival time. I informed them that I have small children. The gentleman stated they do not allow children under 5. i did not see this on the listing prior to booking the one night stay. I gave five stars because he was able to quickly help me get a refund even though it was listed as non-refundable.
