If you’re traveling with friends, you may need a toss-up for the master suite which has a roaring fireplace and opens onto a tranquil porch that’ll draw you into Big Sky’s beauty.

You can escape the crowds yet still be part of the action when you stay in a Moonlight Basin rental home. SKI ACCESS
This home is not ski-in/out until lifts open but then skiing couldn't be easier! Just cross the street to step onto the green Alpine Meadows access which will lead you to the Madison base with a variety of lifts and ski school. The Moonlight Basin lifts are scheduled to open December 15th with no prior ski access.

Ski Out:

The home is located on the Alpine Meadows Access. Go out the garage door on the main level and take an immediate left around the house to access Alpine Meadows trail. Once on the trail, you proceed right (north) on the Alpine Meadows access which connects to Hideaway and the Madison Base Area.

Ski In:

Can be done from either Moonlight or Big Sky. Ironhorse Lift to Powder River. Through the skier tunnel, past the first skier bridge. Hard right on Natawista Run (Not marked great) and this transitions to Bootlegger Access. Guests will take a left at the sign for Alpine Meadows and then ski over the long skier bridge. Take a right back onto the small access trail across from the garage.

*Proceed 10.2 miles to the entrance of Moonlight Basin
*You will drive 1.7 miles past Big Sky Resort entrance
*Proceed through welcome gate (no need to stop) and go straight through the round-about toward Moonlight Lodge, take your second exit out of the round about
*After the roundabout, take your second left onto Silver Star Drive.
*Alpine Meadows Chalet 7 Silver Star is the second house on your left once you turn onto Silver Star Dr.
