"We loved our stay! It was our first family trip since having our first baby. It was perfect for us. The outdoor areas at the property were so fun and relaxing (pond, hot tub, campfire, walking trail). The house was VERY clean. The host was very quick to respond and made check-in simple. We will be back!"

"Super clean. Spacious. Remote/beautiful scenery. So much to do-play games, play pool, relax in hot tub or on deck (pool was closed), sit by fire pit. Kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend for family time or friends get together. Easy check in, host easily accessible. Would book again"

"This property was awesome! The views are so incredible. It truly is magnificent.The owners kept the pool open for us and my husband swam while my sisters and I had our feet in (86 degree day on October 1). Sitting there watching nature enjoying the views and visiting with family makes perfect memories. Very rustic which is what we were looking for.Location is easy to Harrisburg and Eldorado which was great since we were visiting cousins.Hiking is great in the area and the owners animals kept us entertained.We will definitely be back to this property again!"

"Motel is close to the interstate and has a bar and grill next door. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lobby and room were clean and neat. The hallway to the room had a musty mildew smell to it. Shower pressure was adequate but weak. TV and Air conditioning were both working well."

"Hickory Hollow was what we were looking for. The unit matched what was advertised and was perfect for our quick couples retreat. Keyless entry and great directions from the Outpost were greatly appreciated. The unit was very clean and had all the supplies noted. The notebook in the unit was very useful for hiking and for dining suggestions. In Golconda we went to Diver Down Restaurant which we would highly recommend. Very close to Garden of the Gods and Cave In Park. Elizabethtown was another nice spot (Mercantile Store). I would suggest downloading maps of the area as cell phone reception is a bit sketchy."
