After a long drive from Antwerp, arriving at the Lodge was a welcome relief. The staff greeting was super friendly, and the parking charge was reasonable for the area. The bed was nice and comfortable and the room was nice and quiet; the continental breakfast selection is always top notch with plenty of choice.

Nice alternative to something Lego themed. Plenty of communal spaces to sit and relax. Staff very helpful and friendly, appreciated them adding personal touches to the room with the information we gave them ahead of time.

Location is great. It’s a 10 min walk from the amusement park. Parking is less expensive than what I imagined it would be. Breakfast buffet is also great. Only drawback is that the rooms are not air conditioned so it can get hot at night if you are there in August. And ventilation was a bit poor. Otherwise it’s a 5 on 5.

Nice hotel. Rooms are OK, but pictures and description are deceiving. We thought that it would be more like a true lodge setting but the main building is a typical hotel. We asked for a garment view and got to see a tree. If you want a true lodge type experience you need to book a room with garden access. Breakfast is good. Free parking. You can walked to Legoland. Nice walking path next to the hotel. Still it's a nice quiet area to stay in.

Our family (with a young child) stayed here for a few days on a trip to Billund - we came to visit Legoland and Lego House, and we loved staying at the Lodge after very over stimulating days at the parks and exhibits - it was clean, peaceful and calm, and the breakfast, which is included in your stay, was excellent!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Lodge (2 Adults and 2 kids, aged 6 & 8). The room was nice, and general hotel cleanliness was good. The pool and games room amenities were enjoyed by all too. The housekeeping, however, can only be described as a bit strange. I understand that some of it will just be down to Danish culture; but we still felt perplexed: After our first nights sleep, we left the room and returned later in the day to find the housekeeping had been in: They left us a note on the table saying that they are "Happy to make beds, just not teddy bears... If you'd like the bed made, it needs to be clear of personal items" We found this rather odd... in any other hotel we've stayed in, the housekeeping normally just makes the bed and tuck the teddy into the covers. The kids teddy bears in question were small, not excessive. Secondly, as others have said, there is a sign asking you to recycle plastics by leaving it on the desk.. but in our 5 night stay, the bottles weren't cleared once.. so we had a pile of bottles on the desk. Thirdly, the tea and coffee cups were never replaced.. we had dirty cups lying about for days. Since housekeeping didn't replace them, we had to go in search of fresh cups from reception every day. They also didn't replenish tea/coffee/milk sachets at any point - so a guest staying 1 night gets the same amount of tea/coffee as someone staying for 5. However, it's not a bad hotel by any means. Staff were friendly enough, breakfast was decent.
