Top Bindura Hotel Reviews

Residence Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"This hotel claims they do not operate through Expedia, arrived at hotel late at night and they claimed to have no record of my booking despite funds having been taken by Expedia (Owner claims he has been trying to get the hotel removed from Expedia for the last 2 years??). Had to spend hours on phone with Expedia, at international roaming rates, to try and get a refund so that we could pay the hotel directly. Accommodation itself was poor, shower spraying into the ceiling with either scolding or ice cold water, damp seeping through all the walls in the main living area and socks were brown as a result of dirt on the floor.
Avoid."

Amanzi Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel. Really enjoyed my stay."

York Lodge
8/10 Good
"This is definitely a tranquil haven set amongst a city of contrasts. The team were attentive went out of their way to ensure my stay was relaxing, enjoyable and any needs/requests were promptly and efficiently dealt with. The Lodge is set within a lush garden landscape and rooms and common areas are clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was home cooked, generous & delicious. There was an option to also have cereals, fruit, cheese, yoghurt (buffet). York Lodge is a wonderful base from which to explore Harare and surrounding areas/visit friends & family if on holiday here. Did not have dinner here as out with family most of the stay. There are a couple of restaurants within a walking distance if you want variety e.g. Ella the Garden and Victoria 22 - as well as grocery store Pick n Pay and a Thai takeout food. There is also Gava Restaurant (a short drive away if you want a casual, cultural experience than a luxury restaurant and to try authentic Zimbabwean food such as traditional dishes like sadza, beef stew, oxtail, and peanut butter rice I would totally recommend York Lodge as a central base to anybody making a visit to Harare "

Liam Villas Newlands
10/10 Excellent
"I recently stayed at this wonderful property in Harare, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, the property was beautifully maintained, and everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Harare has many accommodation options, but places with great service and comfort really stand out.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day in the city. The environment felt peaceful and secure, and the facilities were excellent.
A special shout-out to Vimbai, who was an incredible guest coordinator. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during my stay. Her friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the experience memorable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to ensuring guests feel welcome and well taken care of.
If you’re visiting Harare and want a place that combines comfort, great hospitality, and attentive service, I highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to the entire team—and especially Vimbai—for making my trip so enjoyable. I will definitely be back"
