"The location is great. The view of Mount Currie from the living room is stunning. The neighbourhood is quiet even during weekdays. Restaurants and coffee shop are a few minutes walk along the peaceful canal.I recommend Mount Currie Coffee Company, Backcountry Pizza and a visit to the public library, which are all in the same area.You're also at a short driving distance from organic farms (I recommend North Arm farms), Nairn falls, and Joffre Lakes. This is also a great base for daytrips to other cities such as Birken and Whistler.Susan is a great host. She welcomed us, showed us around and went over instructions, house rules, and recommendations of things to do and places to visit. Observe the check-in hours and quiet hours, and the rest is common sense."

"Unique custom home constructed from reclaimed materials just as described in the listing. Single full bath is excellent and well equipped. Full sized washer and dryer on ground floor next to BR was nice. Mid floor BR is right next to the bathroom and is tucked away, but also quite open to the main living room. The last BR is loft style and also open to the entire main floor, so BR privacy is lacking for these two bedrooms for sure. It worked for us as we were 3 friends hanging out. Note the loft BR has some very steep and narrow stairs you have to climb - this could be a challenge for some folks. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked up some steaks on the outdoor bbq. There is no tv but that didn’t bother us too much. Small Bluetooth stereo was nice. It was an extremely hot July week, so house was quite warm and closed up when we arrived. Host suggested turning on the portable AC unit in the loft BR and opening the indows at night to let the cool evening air circulate. This was effective and worked well. Nearby hikes to the river, tubing at Mosquito Lake and a jet boat trip on the river were our highlights. Pemberton town itself has great food, pubs, brew houses and fishing tour guides - there’s lots to do here if you’ve had enough of Whistler rec area. Mount Currie range are absolutely amazing for beauty. Host was great."

"We had an amazing stay at this property and was what we were looking for: secluded place in the mountains with all the amenities that were listed. We didn’t realize until after we booked that the owners live on the upper floor of the house, but the space was very private and we barely saw or heard the owners or their sweet dogs."
