One star deducted because at ths price, there shouldn’t be lumpy pillows and the breakfast experience was not as great.
When welcomed at breakfast, I mentioned the team member seemed to have sore foot. I didn’t expect her to tell me she had a corn on her foot. Slightly off putting. It took a long time to get a coffee and they were slow to take the breakfast order.
The highlights are the beautiful, quiet grounds, spacious room with a fantastic power shower, and a lovely breakfast. Also, lots of parking available. The only downside was that the room got very hot and stuffy at night, which affected our sleep.
Not the biggest room, but bright, fresh & clean. I was in the converted roof area with velux windows.
Nice shower (no bath option), lovely warm towel rail at all times, and L’Occitane products.
Room has a smart tv with Netflix, a safe, ironing board & iron, good hairdryer, still & sparkling water & tea & coffee making facilities. There is a temp control with fan.
Nice quiet room with a very comfortable bed & pillows.
There are electric blackout blinds at the windows, but a light that comes on under the sink in the bathroom illuminated the room too much at nighttime for me. I covered it the best I could but the bathroom door is glass (not see through!), so it still leaked out.
Lovely approach to the hotel via a long drive with a horse riding school etc. Plenty of on-site parking.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. Hogarths manages to provide an intimate atmosphere, although being quite a large hotel. The gardens and grounds looked attractive, even in January.
Had an overnight stay with my sister and her dog at Hogarths Hotel. The hotel was easily accessible from the motorway. It was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful, the dinner and breakfast were very good and the hotel was dog friendly.
Great place to stay, large, well appointed room. Great bar and restaurant with good staff. Only let down was the fire alarm went off at approximately 1am and 3am with no explanation why.
