Great parking and reception staff on arrival. Comfy bed and nice/modern bathroom. Amazing location with Cadbury world less than 5 minutes walk away - lovely parks as well.

The carpets on the stairs were not very clean .
The bedroom looked tired although serviceable for a one night stay . Anything longer would be a problem .
The breakfast was good ; staff there friendly and amazing
We really enjoyed our stay her. The hotel was very clean, the room was lovely. Perfect location for Cadbury World. Breakfast was great quality and the breakfast room was really nice. Highly recommended.
Upon checking find hotel owners eating KFC in the dining area. Hotel is under going renovation and ment the bar etc was not useable. Internet isn’t very good and no terrestrial channels on the tv.
It’s a very nice place, wonderfully decorated while still retaining the charm of the original property such a the windows. Although that has its downside, as with no double glazing and being next to a busy road, it wasn’t the quietest, but we managed ok.
We had a king room so the bed was lovely and spacious, and was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, but could have done with more surfaces to put things. The shower was also big, but the water pressure could have been a bit better, and the shower glass was quite narrow so very easy to get the bathroom a bit wet. The room also had a small smart tv, which we appreciated.
Breakfast was included and was nice. You can choose from 4 options. The portions are a little meagre though, for the price of the accommodation I would have appreciated more control over breakfast.
They don’t do lunch or dinner at all, so you have no choice but to eat elsewhere or order takeaway. All the cafes and restaurants are I believe about a 15/20 minute walk away. We arrived somewhat late the first day and with no energy left to walk to a restaurant, so got a takeaway. The staff member on duty was very helpful by giving us cutlery.
Overall, it’s a very acceptable place to stay, but I feel you’re paying more for the way the place looks rather than what you’re receiving.
