Absolute gem - beautiful accommodation and fabulous staff.
Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast.
We always enjoy staying here, the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. It was a Sunday so we got to enjoy an amazing Sunday roast which was delicious and a great size. The place was buzzing, great atmosphere in this well supported venue!
Amazingly friendly traditional pub. Rooms are clean comfortable and the staff are friendly and professional at all times!! Breakfast is amazing! We look forward to staying!!
Gorgeous refurb of a Victorian pub. Maintained beautifully, with a lot of period features. Great breakfast and party food, good selection of beers. Would definitely stay again. Modern room was comfortable, warm and very clean, with generous in room drinks and biscuits
Really nice place, lovely rooms and genuinely friendly staff can’t do enough for you, would definitely recommend and stay again without question excellent value for money
Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs.
Wonderful old building with fantastic tiling and interior features. A great range of beers, super helpful staff, the best breakfast you could want and clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms.
The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, very good size, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.
Lovely old pub right opposite the railway station which made getting there by train a breeze.
The biggest breakfast I’ve have ever been served!!
Lovely, friendly staff
Very pleasant 2 night trip. Room really spacious, huge bathroom (excellent shower)
Although above the pub not at all noisy. Parking was available and at the front of the property. Breakfast amazing and staff so friendly
The young lady who checked us into the hotel was a real credit to seven stars. Efficient, friendly lovely welcome.
Hotel was very clean.
Breakfast was huge, even my husband couldn’t manage it all.
We have stayed in a very expensive hotel that way and we preferred seven stars
Would definitely recommend
