"You should know that in this "hotel" you have to do everything yourself including cleaning the bathroom, make your own bed, broom and clean floors and take out trash that is 5 min walk from your apartment. In addition bring your own shower gel and shampoo as it's not provided either. When leaving you need to take your sheets with you and take it to their laundry. Zero service is provided. "

"This was the first time we had stayed in this area of France and it definitely won’t be the last. A superb property in a perfect location a short walk or cycle to lots of activities but the house itself is in a quiet location. "

"The booking process and communications with the owner were great. There were a couple of issues with discrepancies in English and French listings in that the English listing did mot mention the €250 fee for bed linen and towels and €100 for cleaning. We paid it and all was ok. Marika was waiting for us when we arrived despite being an hour late. The villa was comfortable and adequately equipped although the Smeg coffee machine is no longer there. There are no WCs in the bedroom en-suites which was strange only two wcs for 12 people.Some of the fixtures are a bit tired in particular the WC seat in the entrance is badly damaged and the vanity cupboard door is shabby. The pool is great. One of our concerns was the steps leading to the entrance. These are tiled and the steps are almost invisible on the way down. We had a couple of near misses so stuck some yellow tape on the edges. Notwithstanding we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others, just needs a little TLC."

"Absolutely adored the quietness of the area, even if the hotel was full, the pool area was quiet. Likes the option to have meals on the patio. The lakes offer many options plus have great beaches that do not get overcrowded. Great staff also at the hotel. Very friendly and caring. "

"The location is quiet and relaxing, great for families to get together. Plenty of games and the pool to keep everyone happy. Outdoor cooking area is a good compromise since open BBQs became banned in the area. House is a lovely space, well equipped for large groups and lovingly decorated.
Lake wasn’t walkable for us - two 70 year olds with us- but the car got us there in 5 mins.
Just be aware the electrics tend to trip out when it rains or when you use a particular combination of appliances. There are also no fans. "
