"Very comfortable stay at this property for a couple of nights. I was self catering and found all the equipment I needed. Can't say what eateries were nearby if you don't want to cook. Would definitely book again."

"The lodge itself looks brand new and when speaking to the owners they did say they extended it not to long ago. It’s on land and I very much enjoyed the chickens coming up to the kitchen window when I was cooking and washing up in the day. I’m very funny about hygiene and cleanliness and the lodge was extremely clean. It was so peaceful and that’s what I enjoyed. "Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "
