This place is a gem! There is a bus that is a block away and takes 20 minutes to Stansted Airport. The room we had was wonderful: beautiful bed linens, Turkish bath robe, lovely decor, and a beautiful, healthy, breakfast in the fridge that included a very fresh and attractive fruit platter. The little touches like the coffee machine, toaster, and excellent bread, butter, jams, fresh milk, pretty china cups and plates, made us feel we were in a real home. Martha Stewart could not have done better. Ten stars for this lovely accommodation!

The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. However, on opening the front door noted that the hall carpet was slightly worn and the room allocated had a shower in the room rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom.
