"A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted."

"This was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience of my life. I’ll narrow it down in bullet points. 1) there was a literal dj set huge party happening BENEATH OUR ROOM. Until 1:30 IN THE MORNING. When we complained the owner told us “not to obsess over it.” Mind you- it literally sounded like the DJ was in our bathroom. I am not exaggerating for effect. "We received a very warm welcome and assistance for parking my car and took our luggage from the car to our room. The room was outstanding clean and the largest room in our month long stay in Italy. It is a true castle we felt like a king and queen. "
