The rooms are clean and I think most have been recently refurbished. Our room (15 I think) only had a tiny window in the corner which was frosted. For the first time we had real trouble parking. Had to park in the alley behind and then get up before 8am to try again. On 2 of the 3 mornings I had to park in the public car park...

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...
