"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "We used this B&B to spend the day near the lake. There are so many great places nearby. One day was not enough to visit them all. The host will list nearly lovely places to spend the day. Breakfast is included. Some bread, milk, fruit, juice, and local pastries are perfect for a quick start, and let us continue our journey. There is a coffee machine with nice Italian coffee capsules. There is internet and a TV with cable, which you can also use with your Netflix account. We had a great time....

"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings.
