"The apartment was on the ground floor, comfortable and very clean. There were 2.5 bathrooms (one full with shower and tub, one full with shower, and one with just toilet). It was great for us traveling with elderly parents who were moving slow and walking with a walker. The seating and dining area was small but very adequate. "I want to especially mention the great staff. It appears to be family staffed with the owner, Artur, manning the daytime reception. He was a great gentleman and very helpful giving information on local sights to see. When our next stop at Media Luna Guesthouse in Seydisfjördur went bad because we were not given the check-in codes until very, very late, it was an easy decision to stay a third night at Hotel Jokull. This is a great place to view the nearby Vesturahorn range, Skutafoss, and the Red Chair. "
