"The Junior Suite is an attic room with three beds and a sofa that turns in to a bed. The bathroom is amazing. With bare white walls and only two orange chairs for colour it was very sparse. These chairs were placed to look straight out of the window and the view. Our view was over a field that had the what looked like waste tanks and diggers. To remedy the situation if the room was rearrange so that the corner sofa faced away from the bed. The television was put at the end wall, instead of in the middle of the room, it would make a dedicate lounge area more than just beds in the room. A feature wall with a good pop of colour really would make a difference. Pictures on the walls would be a welcome addition. A standard lamp or table lamp in the living area and side table really would upscale this room and make it feel sumptuous rather than just an attic space with beds in. I would be wary of booking this room as a suite as it doesn’t feel like one. Just a bit of thought and design could make this room an amazing space "

"This hotel is sincerely overpriced and very underwhelming. I had a host of issues from start to finish and couldn't wait to leave. For £239 for one night and a supposed 4* rating I found nothing of that calibre anywhere. I booked a twin room expecting two separate single beds. It turned out to be two single beds pushed together with one huge duvet and no room to push the beds apart. I went to move the small table within the room and the underneath was dripping in an unknown sticky substance. I am immunocompromised so cleanliness is top priority. I called down to have the issue dealt with and a surly cleaner came with a cloth and half heartedly wiped it and left. The air con didn't work. My 18 degree room was stifling with no way to open a window. My view was scaffolding against brick walls. The freeview only had 24 channels (which sounds a lot but I travel with my Challenge TV obsessed son and he was most put out) After a full day out and early travel l was looking forward to kicking my shoes off but the carpet was stained so I kept my shoes firmly on my feet. The room was stifling with no air flow. The bathroom was fine and clean with a good sized shower. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows smelt old. Breakfast was bland and mediocre. The staff were ok. Not impolite but not chatty either. The bartender refused to answer me directly but aimed his answers to my sons like I wasn't there. We had really looked forward to some luxury at this hotel but it was sadly lacking"

"We like Mollie's; its the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are comfortable and pleasing to the eye. MCM is the vibe here. There is tea and coffee in the lobby and they have Dyson hair dryers (the best). You need a car to see the local sites but you can leave the car to the Pear Tree Park & Ride and take a bus into Oxford for the day. The price for parking and bus is 2.5/ person. You can, in this way, avoid the miserable parking and congestion fees."
