"The location was great for our 4 day stay in Dublin and surrounds. Off street parking, bus pickup almost right across the street, approximately 8 miles from Dublin city center. It is spacious, and has both a washer and dryer, which is hard to find. It is obviously owned by a family with school-aged children, as their pictures and playthings are there in the house. "The place was not clean. Dirt and debris all over the floors. The bathrooms were clean but the downstairs one had no shower curtain and the upstairs one had mildew. We spent the first 45 minutes cleaning but we couldn't get the carpets clean because the vacuum cleaner barely worked. The Wi-Fi didn't work even after we rebooted the modem. When we told the host the network didn't show they replied "that's the only one there is best regards". Overall host communication and support was poor. ...

"Several issues: dirty bathrooms( moldy grout in shower, cobwebs around ceiling) , sewage smell in center hallway was pronounced when bathrooms were used, not enough towels for our party of 5, washing machine didn’t work properly, dryer non-existent but was advertised. Linens were not only stained and gross but there also weren’t any sheets supplied for the pull out sofa (1 individual in our party had to sleep directly on the mattress). "Nice flat within a short walking distance to the grocer, a local pub, the Tap House (which has the friendliest staff), a yummy Asian restaurant, Mak 5 and the Luas, which was very easy to use and understand . The house is fairly well equipped (as we stayed 2 weeks we did have to add to the essentials such as TP and paper towels). A perfect spot to live as the locals do."

"We had an excellent experience! We hours before our check in and had just been caught in a very heavy rain fall. The staff was amazing and was able to get us into our room. The room was clean and very quiet, even being close to the elevator. The breakfast was amazing. Great staff and the food was fantastic! The Riu definitely goes above and beyond! We are traveling Ireland and are so glad we booked another stay at the Riu when we return to Dublin!"
