"Cozy Upper Room was perfect! The location was wonderful, the accommodations were superb, and the town of Black Mountain was so enjoyable! "Overall good experience. Location is secluded and close to popular trailheads. I had to fix plumbing issues with the toilet handle and the dishwasher, which isn’t fun and the host hasn’t responded to my message about the dishwasher. They say you don’t need to strip the sheets from the bed….I did, but don’t. Ignorance is bliss when comes to mattress stains. I would consider staying here again because of the location and the hot tub. "

Lots of heating/cooling options, extra blankets, etc. The little kitchenette area had everything we needed too. "We loved the loft apartment. It was centrally located downtown, convenient to all the shops and restaurants. The loft was very roomy with an open floor plan. The living room and bedroom were very large with lots of light. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The shower was great; the kitchen had ample room and needed utensils; however, take note, there was no microwave. We had a little trouble getting into the main door; the electronic keypad was a bit wonky, but someone came to help us...
