"Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Lorraine’s mom. For the most insane coconut bread ever and Lorraine’s cafe for amazing food. Rent a boat for the day and explore all the wonderful islands! "

Couldn’t have been more pleased with our hosts and their cozy cottage. It’s exactly as described! Anita made sure we visited her recommended beaches! So beautiful! Golf cart a must to hop around. "So close to airport you can walk!! Friendly staff always around if needed, delicious food at the flying pig cafe! Spacious and clean rooms with all you need! Renting a golf cart helped to get around to the beach! Miss it already!!"

"Super Clean, comfortable, well located and thoughtful stay. Cool AC to sleep, very clean everything, beach towels, ice cube trays, shampoo/conditioner, coffee! Short walk from the airport, restaurant almost right across the street and the yacht club is less than 1/2 a mile. We took folding bikes but we’ll probably rent a golf cart next time. "

"The house is clean and nicely stocked (although we didn’t cook anything other than boiling water). Gorgeous views and there’s a private cabana down by the water that was perfect. Santos was very friendly and helpful.. reserve the golf cart for sure, 70/day.. "

"Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. It’s definitely out of the way (unless you have your own boat or plane), but getting there is part of the adventure. Ida and her family, along with all the residents we met, were welcoming and open to sharing their quiet island home. Travel light (& with a light touch) and you will be well rewarded with some of the most relaxing days of your life!"
