This place is magical. Beautiful, welcoming, unique, historic, and we didn't want to leave! A truly wonderful place, we felt like we were at a retreat, not just a hotel. Also the town of Blackstone is so gorgeous, full of incredible architecture and lush greenery, massive oak trees, quaint restaurants and coffee shops. We are smitten, will be back!
I had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The hotel was spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority. The grounds were beautiful, well-maintained, and created such a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Very nice place to stay at this historical property. The facility seems to still be in the developmental stages as there are staff shortages and the grounds are not well-kept. I look forward to a finished product!
Though pricey, the rooms are outstanding and the room amenities are very good.
Off the beaten path but worth the privacy. Spacious, upscale. Perfect place for group meetings wanting seclusion yet local restaurants with a good variety of quality, original recipes.
The staff was gracious and accommodating. The room was just right for my one-night stay. They serve a hot breakfast, including scrambled eggs, make-your-own waffles, link sausage, and potatoes on paper plates with plastic utensils. They also offer yogurt, cereal, fruit juice, and various breakfast breads, including bagels with cream cheese. Coffee is available for breakfast, in the room, and at check-in. The building is historic and interesting. They have a fitness center and a lovely outdoor courtyard with rocking chairs. I enjoyed my stay. No complaints! The staff couldn't be any nicer. Well done!
The staff appeared overwhelmed. Virginia was rude on the phone but appear a little nicer at the desk in person. It’s a beautiful hotel and location. Weekends needs more help
to Support there attitudes. So they can meet the needs of there customers
Showed up late, and crashed early so, I don't have a lot to say. However, my bed was super comfortable, the room was cool and clean. Breakfast was the same as everywhere else but it was very good and better than most. I would stay here again and again. To keep the review balanced for some reason the internet kept dropping out and I wish hotels, Inns etc. would catch up and realize that streaming surpassed cable television so please add a few streaming services so guests can log into their accounts.
The stay started out horrible. Being in hotel management myself for the Hyatt Corporation the management and staff were the worst I have ever met. Do not book through Expedia if you are planning to stay there because they treat you terrible. With that being said the property was clean and well maintained and the front desk clerks during the weekend were great and very friendly. Their operations management and the clerk working at checkin need a lesson in how not to talk about the guest when they leave the desk and can still hear you! I asked for the General Manager’s name and they refused to give it to me. The breakfast lady was overwhelmed the food was great . She informed us the guy never gives her the correct numbers. We all had to wait 20 minutes for food to be refreshed. We made the best of it and enjoyed our weekend with family as I stated the hotel itself was great and the breakfast once it was available was excellent.
This is our 2nd stay here. Virginia, at check in, was so nice the first time we came back. This hotel smells AMAZING! Everyone is super nice..the pool was nice and clean. The rooms are spotless. I love this place.
A beautiful old building converted into a hotel. Excellent breakfast with sausage, eggs, gravy, waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc
We liked the building and grounds and are happy to see that the historic building is being renovated and restored
What a wonderful stay! The Inn has so much character and you can feel and see the history. Area is quiet, staff is friendly. Would definately recommend!
Great place to stay for the price, breakfast was better than most, lots of space and unique charm. One of the best places to stay for the money that I have ran into for quite a while.
