Set in the quiet village of Mnaod on the edge of Blaenau Ffestiniog, this spacious bungalow enjoys large gardens and wonderful views over the Moelwyn mountain range, it’s a perfect base near all amenities and popular attractions.. All on the Ground Floor:

Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a historic mining town, best known for being the slate capital of the world, having recently been awarded the acclaimed UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is a mecca for any outdoor enthusiasts, with bike trails, climbing, kayaking and walking routes in abundance. Only a few minutes away is Llechwedd Slate Caverns/Zip World; a great day out for the kids and adults alike.

You’re only a short drive from Betws-y-Coed, known as the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. Also within easy reach is Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway and the famous Black Rock Sands, and Harlech is also only a short drive away, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its imposing castle and simply stunning beaches, it is well worth a visit. You will certainly not be short of sights to see and places to visit in this diverse area. Beach 12 miles.

Fabulous cottage in a lovely location within easy travelling distance of many attractions.

Fabulous cottage in a lovely location within easy travelling distance of many attractions. The cottage was perfect for our holiday as my husband particularly wanted to spend the day on the Ffestiniog railway which was within walking distance. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the owner was kind enough to leave some essential goodies and a bottle of wine! We had a dog with us and the local area was excellent for walking with her (on the lead as there are sheep around). My mum was also with us - she uses crutches to get around and she found the place very easy to get around as well. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
