Alyth is perfectly placed for exploring the Cateran Trail and Angus Glens. Lintrathen Loch (5 miles) and the mighty River Tay (13.5 miles) offer superb fishing opportunities. A golfer’s paradise, there are 3 courses, on the perimeter of the village, and the renowned Blairgowrie Golf Club is only 5 miles away. You’ll also find local walking and cycling trails, which provide a tranquil escape for wildlife watching. Bike hire is available in the village. One of Scotland's most iconic castles, Glamis Castle is 10.5 miles away, or enjoy Glenshee Ski (19 miles), Ski hire at the centre or locally.
