"Need a place to stay while my daughter and I attended a camp nearby. the location was convenient to town and there were perks to the apartment including a pool, it was rather dirty. Lots of insects (not because it was in the mountains but because of caretaking). It was rather dirty, enough that my kids commented on that. It also had some rather easy repairs that were needed yet left undone. The apartment smelled of weed in certain areas which was a turnoff."

"Nice weekend getaway to get some quietness. This place would be really nice in the beginning of the fall in which it's still warm and vacation time period is not as busy. Owners was very helpful and always picked up the phone. We had a miss communication with the fire stick, but they quickly rectify the issue within hours and apologies for any inconvenience. These are the type of owners you always want to rent from. Local pizza place was really good."

"Absolutely INCREDIBLE property. The pictures truly dont do the place justice, because of how quaint it truly is. Perfect for one person or a couple. A very short walk to all the things to do downtown. All the amenities of home and then some!"

"My employees were not allowed to use the " private kitchen " in the listing. I was sent pictures of what appeared to be a dirt dusty haunted basement with a creepy old dress on a mannequin in the corner. This place was awful Do not stay. If I could give it negative stars I would."

"Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I was on a vacation/work trip and driving to New England with my 4-month-old Westie. Stopped here for a 4-night stay and I have family in the area. Loved the little apartment with the deck overlooking the creek. Betsy, the host, was wonderful, felt like meeting a long, lost friend. A lot to do in the Tunkhannock area. "We really enjoyed staying in this home. It was very easy to communicate with the owner and the response time was quick. We had absolutely no issues. Unfortunately, we were in the area for a funeral, but it was nice to have a place to relax and plenty of space for my 2 year old grandson to move about. I will definitely return again to stay here to visit family on a more delightful note."

"Though we somehow were not expecting to have to walk up three and a half flights, the accomodations were excellent! Only problem I had was trying to read hand written instructions from the owner before I put on my glasses, and added water to a coffee maker that was already full! The star of the trip was the food, though, and the recommendations were appreciated."

"I did not realize the property was a former mansion. The apartment feels like a house. Each room is so lovely with bright natural light. The beds were so comfy and perfectly made with lots of blankets and pillows. Esther communicated perfectly with us and added sweet touches like a nespresso with coffee, tooth brushes and paste, plenty of towels, shampoo and soaps, and some spices and cooking utensils as needed.
