"Sad experience my partner and I had during our “stay” on 14–15 February 2026.
We booked this stay specifically for the spa, a nice dinner, and a relaxing experience. Upon arrival we were immediately told that the spa not included, since we booked true Hotels.com ??. Now SPA was fully booked and unavailable for us — despite our booking and expectations. We were told only that there might be availability the next morning.
We were also advised to book dinner quickly, but when I spoke with the maître d’, we were told the restaurant was fully booked for the entire evening, even though we were flexible with timing. The only alternative offered was pizza at the bar ?
I travel frequently and have never experienced a hotel that cannot provide dinner reservations for its own 2 guests.
I informed reception that I wished to cancel the stay. The receptionist did go and speak with his manager before agreeing to a refund
I received a call from the restaurant after we returned home saying they did have a table available — an option never offered to us while at the hotel.
This was a very disappointing experience for us, and the lack of effort from staff to find solutions was disappointing and unprofessional.
