"This quaint home was a welcome respite after a long drive North for vacation. It took us a bit to adjust the 2 window A/C units for a comfortable temp but they worked wonderfully throughout our 4 night stay! The kitchen was well stocked with appropriate dishes & cooking provisions as we made breakfast & dinner each night after our daily adventures around the UP! The hosts do a great job keeping the thirsty mosquitos out of the home. I was even able to enjoy several hours one evening out in the screened in porch reading a new book! While we had no issues with insects inside the house, the indoor bug zapper took some getting used to! It's quite loud but very effective! The location is perfect for hitting up many tourist "must-see" attractions as you are right in the middle of everything with a short drive to each place. However, being as the house is located in a residential area, it doesn't provide an entirely secluded, quiet UP experience. The hosts were easy to contact & quick to respond to questions. They even allowed us to check in an hour earlier which was very much appreciated! Definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to hit up Tahquemenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rocks, Munising, Marquette & ALL the fun things to do in the UP!"

"2 families that have vacationed together for years. This house had perfect space inside and out for all of us and we had the best time ever. Laying on the deck watching a meteor shower was amazing. We swam, rented a boat for fishing, went out to Tally Ho, the Helmer restaurant, Oswald’s near ranch, played ping pong, cornhole, and perhaps our favorite thing was just gathering on the back deck watching the lake. What an amazing place!!!!"
