"We stopped at La Mansarde enroute to a tour of the war graves and memorials in France & Belgium. Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."

"The apartment was very nicely designed and decorated. The hotel only offered breakfast which was fine for us with plenty of options in the town. The one drawback was the fact that there was only a bath in the bedroom so for an older couple it was difficult to shower."

"Beautiful little cottage. Cosy, compact, comfortable and well equipped. Nice external seating areas in the hosts well maintained country garden. Very peaceful location in a small, quiet village but within a short drive/ easy access of the surrounding areas. Plenty to see and do within an hours drive or less. "This property is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts Dominique and Genevieve cannot do enough for you. On the day we arrived they had family visiting who were so lovely. The village and setting is tranquil and pretty. From the moment we arrived, to be greeted with drinks, we felt welcomed and at home. The room is lovely, very spacious and immaculate. The fridge is fully stocked with water and soft drinks and the coffee machine has an enormous choice. Dominique helped us to book dinner at a really lovely restaurant 15 minutes drive from the house and served us with the most fabulous breakfast on the terrace. We cannot rate this accommodation and family highly enough. Given the opportunity we would not hesitate to return."
