We loved the room, newness, nice design and the quality of the materials used and the workmanship, the terrace with a view, the slightly remote location, exceptional breakfast (don't miss it), and the welcome drink and other extras. The nearby restaurant (Rosemarino) was exceptional. We were totally surprised by how much we enjoyed our 12 hours in Rostock. Instead of what we thought would be an inconvenient side trip, we only wished we could have stayed longer. We will make a point of returning...

Considering the hotel's distance from what I consider big cities in Germany, I found the hotel to be a charming spot close to the Baltic Sea. I arrived in Berlin on a delayed flight out of Madrid and left the car rental after midnight in Berlin.
