"The breakfast buffet is top notch. It justifies the higher prices you pay for staying right at the track. The place is spotless and the staff are great. My only real comment is that the pillows were a bit worn but I got used to them."

Easy check in, wifi, nice room, very clean, great person at the desk with lots of suggestions, and outstanding breakfast for 12 euros per person. Only very minor issue was we had to park a ways away in a parkade because they only have a few paid spots at the hotel, but was really no problem. "

"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!"

"The staff were polite & the food was good However, my room was right above the kitchen which proved to be very noisy both at night & in the morning. Constantly heard the kitchen staff crashing plates, shouting at eachother & dropping metal items. Couldn't sleep until around 11.30pm after the kitchen was closed"

"This hotel is a large standard hotel in a fabulous position to explore Monschau and the surrounding area. Car park is a huge bonus. Our room was on the 5th floor. A reasonable size, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would return if in the area."
