"We loved this home! This canal house provided a very unique experience for our family. It was simply charming! We spent several nights in this home and enjoyed both Edam and Amsterdam. We rented bikes one day for local riding. Another day we took the bus (quick & easy) into Amsterdam. The last morning, we simply walked the streets of Edam enjoying the bakeries and quiet streets.The host was very helpful - even checking on us when our arrival was later than expected. "We enjoyed our time here. The fries we are at the cafe were delicious.There is a blowup bouncy for kids to jump on. Lots of walking or biking paths.Only criticism is our cabin had furniture that had pointed edges and as it was small it wasn't practical. Other than that we enjoyed our short stay here."

"Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Leider drückt der zu hohe Preis die Gesamtbewertung. 522,- für 4 Nächte für ein kleines Zimmer, sind einfach zu viel. Abzug gibt es auch für die Beschreibung "Komfortzimmer mit Verbindungstür". Die undichte Verbindungstür war die Abtrennung zur Nachbarwohnung. Auch die zwei "Feldbetten" haben nichts mit Komfort zu tun. "

"This apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Volendam was an adorable town and we highly recommend the Volendam museum for local history. Bus stops and ferries were convenient for day trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoorn and Marken."

"The pictures listed for this stay don’t do it justice - the back patio is beautiful and the interior is very well equipped and decorated. Richard was an incredibly kind an attentive host. My friends and I loved hanging out on the front and back patios in the mornings, taking trips to Amsterdam during the day, and relaxing in the hot tub at night. Overall amazing stay!
