"This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. The house is spacious, has bags of character, has a fabulous outdoor space with chairs, sun-loungers...

"Nous avons passé une super semaine dans la maison de Christian. La maison sur deux étages est sublime et décorée avec goût. Les pièces sont immenses. Le jardin et la piscine sont également très agréables et le tout est totalement isolé dans la campagne. André et Brigitte qui nous ont accueillis et qui habitent le village sont adorables."

"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

Nous venions pour un mariage, et nous avons eu la très bonne surprise de découvrir que le logement bénéficie d'une piscine alors que nous étions en pleine canicule. Par ailleurs, notre hôte nous a très bien accueillis. Le logement est spacieux et très bien fourni. L'hôte est gentil et a échangé plusieurs fois avec nous. "We were a group of 2 couples - late middle age! We had a lovelt time here - a car probably essential but as we had a car we travelled widely - Bordeaux, Arcachon, Dune du Pilat, St Emilion, Supper on the Dordogne, Creon and South. Weather perfect. Lovely holiday enjoyed."

"Nice house in a nice location. Just steps to the massive Sunday market. We enjoyed meeting owner Sylvie. We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap."
