"This place was absolutely phenomenal. Clean as a whistle. Beautiful rooms and buildings. Nice copious free continental style breakfast buffet. Wonderful staff. It's in the middle of everything downtown and close to everything ... and also a bus stop as a launch point to tours and to the airport (taxis are expensive so use the bus unless you need it now). Views right into the Main Street. Bathroom was big and beautiful. For a $100 up charge they also let me check in at 8am and eat breakfast. Trust me it was worth it for flying in on the red eye. 5 stars all around. "

"The contactless check in and check out is pretty awesome. Staff were there whenever we had a question though. The location is perfect to explore south coast as well as golden circle. Loads of free parking spaces in street, though I think the hotel would benefit with getting some more dedicated parking spaces than it currently has, because it does get a bit busy. Would definitely stay next time we go Reykjavík "

"This hotel is conveniently located just outside of the tourist shopping and dining district (less than 5 min walk). It is also located right in front of Bus Stop 12. Most tours have an option to pick up and drop off here, as well as Fly bus the airport transfer bus. I arrived and tried to check in around 11:30am. My room was almost ready. I had the hotel hold my bags and went to lunch. When I returned an hour later, my room was ready. 727. Room was clean and large, great view. Room and bathroom were well stocked. I did not need house keeping the 3 nights i stayed. I received a free drink ticket with my expedia booking. I went to the Beer Garden restaurant after a long tour day, and got the fish and chips and some sparkling wine. Definitely recommend the fish and chips. Overall, a great stay. "
