Great location near the Geysir. Location also has a restaurant that offers lunch and dinner. Host was friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and quiet. The hot tub was waiting for us to soak in. Exactly what we needed!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit privatem Hotpot. Die Aussicht war prima, der Pot wurde ausgiebig genutzt. Insgesamt ist das Haus mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Bei genauerem Hinsehen, hätte es scho hier und da etwas sauberer sein dürfen.

The overall stay was great. A few minor issues. There was a broken handle on the kitchen window and the blinds were broken. There is also no shampoo or shower gel for the shower. This is something that is uncommon and could be highlighted when booking or just provided given the cost.

Great lovely cottage with wide windows to enjoy view of the surroundings. Super spacious and clean. Kitchen well furnished to cook meal. Not much around so bring your food!!

Really cozy cottage (we stayed in the villa) and it came with a private hot tub with natural spring water. It’s excellent value for what we paid for and just comfortable, straightforward, and well appointed. Would love to stay here again! A couple of tips: 1. You must take trash out when you leave. There’s instruction on the wall about where to take it and you could get fined if you don’t. 2. Not sure if it’s Iceland customs but the room had no soap or shampoo, just hand soap. So bring your own :). The hotel is fairly close to Gulfoss. So if you are visiting this area, highly recommend it.

Ours was an economy cottage. Place was smaller than we had hoped. No light in kitchen area. No toiletries provided. If you are prepared it's a good enough place to stop over

We loved our stay at Uthlid Cottages and wish we had booked more than one night! The hosts were so welcoming and the breakfast basket option they offered was superb for the reasonable price point. The location was beautiful - tucked back into the woods and thw cabin was so much bigger than we expected. Very comfortable for a family of three, great living space to hang out in. And the hot tub! Wow! Even though we arrived late, we spent hours relaxing in it after checking in and then took another soak in the morning. We would also recommend grabbing am easy dinner at their little restaurant. Good food and cute setting! 10/10 would recommend!

Great villa - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed from a full kitchen to a hot tub. Blackout drapes were perfect for the midnight sun. Close to many golden circle sights!

Cabin with Hot-Tub. Not a lot of amenities nearby so make sure you stock up prior to your stay. All mod-cons and very comfortable. We only had one bowl on arrival, but site staff sorted it. Please note that site office is only manned over limited, specific hours.

Our small cottage came with a hot tub. It was functional and comfortable. Bedrooms were tiny which would be an issue if you had a lot of luggage. There was a dishwasher. We had dinner in the restaurant on the grounds which was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.
